Studio Jayga Architects is a RIBA Chartered Practice. We work closely with clients to understand your needs and provide full architectural design services, from initial concept design through to planning, construction management and completion.
The word 'Jayga' in the Bangla language translates to 'Place'.

We believe that the spaces we inhabit should have a sense of place; this means that architecture should engage with its social and physical context to create a sense of belonging and community. We believe that good quality design can benefit and improve people’s lives significantly.

Director / Architect
Mahdi is a chartered architect, registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the United Kingdom and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
Mahdi has designed and built clinics and hospitals in Bangladesh and Morocco, schools, apartments and eco-tourism resorts in Cambodia, Haiti, Rwanda, Tanzania & Palestine.
He is also a Trustee of Child Support Tanzania, a disability inclusive pre-school for children with physical and mental disabilities in south-west Tanzania.

Architectural Designer
Mita was born in Medan, Indonesia and is a very talented architectural and interior designer with a wealth of experience. She graduated from Manchester School of Architecture for her master’s degree in Urbanism. She is very passionate about interior design and highly skilled in 3D modelling. She loves travelling and is a keen photographer.

Dola has a wealth of experience as an architectural designer. She blends global influences from her Bangladeshi roots and upbringing in Venice to create beautifully crafted spaces. She is passionate about integrating diverse communities through her design. In her free time, she enjoys art and exploring interiors.

Architect & RIBA Conservation Registrant (CR)
David believes great architecture lives at the intersection of beauty, practicality, and purpose. With a background spanning historic restoration projects, contemporary design, and sustainable construction, he uses clear visual storytelling to help clients and stakeholders picture proposals long before ground is broken.
From early concept design through to tender and construction, David delivers meticulously crafted technical packages for both residential and commercial projects. As an RIBA Conservation Registrant progressing toward full accreditation, he ensures every detail is robust, buildable, and designed around the people who use it.

He brings a strong visual sensibility to his design process, informed by a background in photography and visual storytelling. This shapes not only how he approaches materials, light, and atmosphere, but how he thinks about the way a space is ultimately experienced.
