We are a London based architecture & interior design studio. We specialise in the design of bespoke architectural spaces in the residential, commercial & hospitality sector.

Studio Jayga Architects is a RIBA Chartered Practice. We work closely with clients to understand your needs and provide full architectural design services, from initial concept design through to planning, construction management and completion.

The word 'Jayga' in the Bangla language translates to 'Place'.
(Pronounced Jaygah, Jagah or Zhagar)

We believe that the spaces we inhabit should have a sense of place; this means that architecture should engage with its social and physical context to create a sense of belonging and community. We believe that good quality design can benefit and improve people’s lives significantly.

Meet the Team

We are a young, dynamic team of architects and interior designers with experiences spanning across various sectors over 15 years.

  • Director / Architect

    Mahdi is a chartered architect, registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the United Kingdom and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

    Mahdi has designed and built clinics and hospitals in Bangladesh and Morocco, schools, apartments and eco-tourism resorts in Cambodia, Haiti, Rwanda, Tanzania & Palestine.

    He is also a Trustee of Child Support Tanzania, a disability inclusive pre-school for children with physical and mental disabilities in south-west Tanzania.

  • Architectural Designer

    Mita was born in Medan, Indonesia and is a very talented architectural and interior designer with a wealth of experience. She graduated from Manchester School of Architecture for her master’s degree in Urbanism. She is very passionate about interior design and highly skilled in 3D modelling. She loves travelling and is a keen photographer.

  • Architectural Designer

    Dola has a wealth of experience as an architectural designer. She blends global influences from her Bangladeshi roots and upbringing in Venice to create beautifully crafted spaces. She is passionate about integrating diverse communities through her design. In her free time, she enjoys art and exploring interiors.

  • Architectural Designer

    Larnelle is a skilled architectural designer and graduate of Loughborough University. He was born in Nigeria and raised up in Britain. With a passion for draughtsmanship, 3D modeling, and blending cultural influences into architectural design, he brings creativity and depth to his work. In his free time, Larnelle sharpens his drawing abilities and volunteers teaching children of all ages the fundamentals of architecture.

    Coming from an Afghan background, Hira is passionate about working with communities and ensuring local involvement within the urban fabric. She is passionate about creating spaces that elevate and improve health and wellbeing.

    Hira aims to help create meaningful, contextually-driven places that resonates with both people and the environment.

    With a vision and desire to create more thoughtful and human-centred spaces. Koren is an architectural designer with a strong curiosity for materials, structure and detail. She is drawn to exploring how these elements come together and finds joy in the small details, helping to shape environments that are practical and meaningful.

  • Interior Designer

    With roots in Fine Arts and a growing expertise in Interior Design, Alina approaches every space as a new canvas. Her artistic background informs the way she works with colour, texture, and form, allowing her to create spaces that are both visually compelling and thoughtfully composed.

    She enjoys 3D modelling and has a strong interest in technical drawings, combining creativity with precision. Alina is deeply focused on detail and on how people feel within the spaces she designs, aiming to create environments that are both functional and emotionally engaging.
